Lydia Alhassan

Managing director

Lydia Seyram Alhassan is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with a 30 years’ experience in Ghana’s pharmaceutical and healthcare supply sector. She holds a degree in entrepreneurship from the Ghana Institute of management and public administration; she later acquired an EMBA in marketing from the University of Ghana Business school. Her pharmaceutical entrepreneurship journey began as early as age 24 when she founded Lymens Medical Supplies Limited in 1994. which started as a retail company and transitioned to a wholesale medical and pharmaceutical distribution company. Through Lymens, she built a reputation for reliability in the supply of medical consumables, laboratory items, and essential medicines to Health directorates, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies across the country.

Her leadership in the sector is marked by a commitment to improving pharmaceutical distribution systems, supporting fair trade practices, and ensuring the availability of quality medical products. Lydia’s work in the private sector laid the foundation for her later contributions to public health policy, including youth training initiatives in health-related entrepreneurship and her eventual transition into national leadership positions.

Jerry Xorla Sosu Esq.

Jerry Xola Sosu is a distinguished pharmaceutical professional, researcher, and regulatory consultant whose work spans academia, industry, and public health. With a strong foundation in pharmaceutical chemistry and advanced training in pharmaceutical analysis and quality control, he has dedicated his career to strengthening the quality, safety, and regulation of medicines in Ghana, ensuring the highest standards of drug safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Jerry doubles as the Principal Consultant at Foodrug Services International, a regulatory and quality assurance consultancy. In this role, he provides expert guidance on good manufacturing practices (GMP), quality management systems, facility audits, and compliance with national regulatory standards. His unique combination of pharmaceutical expertise and legal training enables him to assist the organization to navigate the complex regulatory environment governing medicines and health products.

Across all his professional endeavors, Jerry remains committed to enhancing pharmaceutical standards and advancing public health. His work reflects a deep passion for science, a strong understanding of regulatory systems, and a dedication to improving the availability of safe and effective medicines.

Linda Poku Adu

Superintendent Pharmacist

Linda Poku Adu is a highly skilled and dedicated pharmaceutical professional with a strong blend of scientific training and business acumen. With a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) and an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana (Legon), she brings both deep technical expertise and strategic financial insight to her role.
As a Superintendent Pharmacist, Linda has been with Lymens since its inception and oversees pharmacy operations, Her technical background in pharmacy allows her to make informed decisions on procurement, storage, and dispensing of medications,
